We recently featured the new Second Residence, a vacation rental from cult lifestyle store Merci located in an 18th century building the Latin Quarter of Paris. Former creative director Jules Mesny-Deschamps worked with Reka Magyar, the store’s head of style, to create the artful mix-and-match style seen here. We dissected the key elements of the apartment’s main bedroom to recreate the look.
Above: The bedroom is a prime example of, as the designers call it, “mixing two antagonist aesthetics,” where modern meets subtle romance.
